339.503 Investigation; petition to issue subpoena. Sec. 503. The department shall conduct the investigation required under section 502. In furtherance of that investigation, the department may request that the attorney general petition the circuit court to issue a subpoena requiring a person to appear before the department and be examined with reference to a matter within the scope of the investigation and to produce books, papers, or documents pertaining to the investigation.
