339.518 Issuance of license or certificate of registration or renewal based on review of petitioner's qualifications. Sec. 518. The department may issue a license or certificate of registration or renewal for an occupation regulated under articles 8 to 25, if based on a review of the qualifications of the person who submitted a petition under section 515, the department and the appropriate board determine that the person could perform the occupation with competence.
