339.6009 Building official, plan reviewer, or inspector; registration; application; fee; initial registration.Sec. 1009. (1) An individual shall apply for registration as a building official, plan reviewer, or inspector to the appropriate advisory board and to the commission. The applicant shall include the application fee established by the department under article 4. (2) The commission may issue an initial registration for a period of more or less than 3 years for the purpose of allowing subsequent registration renewal to coincide with the code change cycle.
