339.5911 Nonconforming boilers; special installation and operation permit.Sec. 911. A boiler that does not conform to the rules and regulations formulated by the board that governs new construction and installation shall not be installed and operated in this state after July 1, 1966, unless the boiler is of special design or construction, is not covered by the rules and regulations, and is not in any way inconsistent with those rules and regulations, in which case the board in its discretion may grant a special installation and operation permit for that boiler.
