35.1253 Veterans cemetery; purchase, acquisition, or designation of land.Sec. 3. (1) The department may acquire and purchase land in a county with a population of not less than 12,500 and not greater than 13,500 that is suitable for a veterans cemetery or designate land owned by this state under the jurisdiction of the department in a county with a population of not less than 12,500 and not greater than 13,500 as a veterans cemetery.
