38.1645 General administration, management, and responsibility for operation of retirement system. Sec. 45. Through December 31, 1986, the general administration, management, and responsibility for the operation of the retirement system created by this act shall continue to be the responsibility of the director of the department of state police under the supervision of the state administrative board, as provided by section 2 of former Act No. 251 of the Public Acts of 1935.
