38.403 Referendum; time, notice, statement of question. Sec. 3. Election; time, notice. At least 3 weeks shall intervene between the adoption of the resolution by the board of supervisors and the time of holding such election. After the adoption of the resolution by the board of supervisors the county clerk shall give like notice of the submission of the question of the adoption of the county civil service system as is required by law in the case of elections to elect county officers. Said notice shall set forth the action of the board of supervisors and that the question will be stated on the ballot to be used at such election as follows: Shall the county civil service system, as provided for by Act No. .... of the Public Acts of 1941, be adopted in the county of ......................?
