38.405 Act to become effective upon adoption of system. Sec. 5. Same; results. If upon the canvass of the votes cast at such election it shall appear that the majority of the electors voting thereon shall have voted 'yes,' then the county civil service system shall be considered as adopted in such county, and thereupon the provisions of this act and all other acts relative to such system shall be and become operative in such county.
