38.1545b Contested case hearing.Sec. 45b. The retirement board shall provide for a hearing on written request of a person, participating court, or participating municipality aggrieved by a decision of the retirement system. The hearing under this section must be conducted as a contested case under chapter 4 of the administrative procedures act of 1969, 1969 PA 306, MCL 24.271 to 24.288, and policies or procedures adopted by the retirement board, and a final order of a hearing under this section is subject to chapter 6 of the administrative procedures act of 1969, 1969 PA 306, MCL 24.301 to 24.306.
