380.462 Special election; request; statement of questions; powers and duties of chief executive officer. Sec. 462. Special elections may be called by the board of the first class school district. The board shall call an election on receipt of the written request of not less than 10% of the registered school electors of the district qualified to vote on the question by giving the prescribed notice. The questions to be submitted at the election shall be stated briefly in the notice. If the question under section 410 is approved in the first class school district, then the chief executive officer appointed under section 420 has the powers and shall perform the duties of the board of the first class school district under this section.
