388.422 Restoration without loss of status or seniority; benefits. Sec. 2. Any teacher who is restored to a position in accordance with the provisions of this act shall be considered as having been on leave of absence during his period of training and service in the military forces of the United States, shall be restored without loss of status or seniority, shall be entitled to participate in any benefits under the established rules and regulations of the school district and shall not be discharged from such position without cause within 1 year after such restoration.
