388.1003 State board of education; president; secretary; treasurer, bond. Sec. 3. The state board of education shall elect a president, a secretary, a treasurer and such other officers as it deems necessary. The treasurer shall furnish a corporate surety bond in a sum determined by the board as adequate to cover the funds to be handled by him and conditioned upon the faithful discharge of his duties.
