388.1619a Reports.Sec. 19a. All of the following apply to reports required by the superintendent, department, or center to be submitted under this act: (a) The superintendent, department, or center shall not require, or promulgate a rule requiring, a new report to be submitted unless state or federal law specifically requires or authorizes the report. (b) The superintendent, department, or center shall not require, or promulgate a rule requiring, any modifications or additions to a report that, as of the effective date of this section, is already required to be submitted unless 1 or both of the following apply: (i) State or federal law specifically requires or authorizes the modification or addition. (ii) The modification or addition will reduce or eliminate a reporting requirement. (c) If the superintendent, department, or center requires, or promulgates a rule requiring, a new report or additional information to be submitted under the conditions specified under subdivisions (a) and (b), the superintendent, department, or center shall ensure that the new report or additional information may be submitted electronically.
