388.1764a Receipt by school administrator of monetary payment in lieu of unused vacation or personal leave. Sec. 164a. A district or intermediate district shall not allow a school administrator to receive a monetary payment in lieu of unused vacation or personal leave for the purpose of increasing the school administrator's retirement benefits. If a district or intermediate district violates this section in a fiscal year, the district or intermediate district forfeits from its funds due under this act for that fiscal year an amount equal to the salary of the district's or intermediate district's superintendent for that fiscal year.
