388.1764i Prohibited use of funds; restricting or impeding access to government resources, programs, or facilities; reporting of interference with local health officers.Sec. 164i. (1) Money appropriated under this act must not be used to restrict or impede a marginalized community's access to government resources, programs, or facilities. (2) From the funds appropriated in this act, districts, intermediate districts, public community colleges, and public universities shall report to the department any action or policy that attempts to restrict or interfere with the duties of local health officers. (3) As used in this section, 'local health officer' means that term as defined in section 1105 of the public health code, 1978 PA 368, MCL 333.1105. History: Add. 2023, Act 103, Eff. Oct. 1, 2023
