4.427 Civil action; criminal prosecution. Sec. 17. The attorney general upon investigation and determination that this act or a rule promulgated under this act was violated, shall do either of the following: (a) Initiate a civil action to enforce this act. (b) Begin criminal prosecution for the imposition of criminal penalties provided by this act in the judicial district in which the alleged violation occurred. History: 1978, Act 472, Imd. Eff.
