400.791 Definitions.Sec. 1. As used in this act: (a) 'Departments' means the department of community health, the department of human services, and the department of education. (b) 'Evidence-based program' means a home visitation program described in section 3. (c) 'Home visitation' means a voluntary service delivery strategy that is carried out in relevant settings, primarily in the homes of families with children ages 0 to 5 years and pregnant women. (d) 'Home visiting system' means the infrastructure and programs that support and provide home visitation. (e) 'Promising program' means a home visitation program described in section 3.
