400.574 Appropriations; approval; terms as public record; notice. Sec. 4. (1) The appropriations of funds for services to an older person shall be approved by the majority of the members of the governing body of the local unit of government. The terms of the appropriation shall be a matter of public record and shall be entered into the journal of the official proceedings of the governing body. (2) Notification of an appropriation to a private organization shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation within 10 days following approval by the governing body.
