404.34 Noncompliance with act; penalties. Sec. 4. Failure on the part of any person to perform any duty enjoined upon him by the provisions of this act shall be deemed a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof such person shall be subject to a fine of not less than 50 dollars nor more than 500 dollars, or to imprisonment in the county jail for a term of not less than 30 days nor more than 6 months; or to both such fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the court.
