409.309 Medical benefits.Sec. 9. Corpsmembers shall not receive state employee health benefits, except that corpsmembers who at the time of hire were receiving general assistance or aid to families with dependent children shall continue to receive, while they are corpsmembers, the medical benefits provided under the social welfare act, 1939 PA 280, MCL 400.1 to 400.119b.
