41.332 Water mains and fittings; purchase, installation, and maintenance. Sec. 2. For the purpose of distributing the water to be furnished in pursuance of a contract authorized by section 1, the township board may purchase and lay necessary water mains and fittings and maintain and control their use, either along public highways or upon private property for which the right to lay the pipe has been obtained.
