41.276 Pavements or sidewalks; liability of petitioners. Sec. 6. The petitioners for the construction of any improvement under the provisions of this act shall be jointly and severally liable for the costs and expense of proceedings had, but not for any portion of the construction of the improvement, in case the proceedings therefor shall be dismissed for any cause where the county road commissioners have incurred expense because of such petition.
