421.12a Employment security; community work or training program; employee benefits. Sec. 12a. Any person, whether paid a wage, allowance or stipend, or a combination thereof, engaged in a community work or training program or work experience program, whether private or public, and whether it is conducted by a profit or nonprofit organization, sponsored or conducted by the Michigan employment security commission, either on its own behalf or as agent on behalf of the federal government, shall be entitled to the benefits provided by Act No. 317 of the Public Acts of 1969, as amended, being sections 418.101 to 418.899 of the Compiled Laws of 1948, in the same manner as employees of the state.
