421.5b Bureau of worker's and unemployment compensation; creation within department of consumer and industry services; director; transfer of powers and duties by executive order. Sec. 5b. (1) The bureau of worker's and unemployment compensation is created within the department of consumer and industry services. (2) The bureau shall be headed by a director who shall be appointed by the governor. (3) All of the authority, powers, functions, duties, and responsibilities of the unemployment agency provided under this act are transferred to the bureau as provided in Executive Order No. 2002-1. (4) All of the powers, functions, duties, and responsibilities of the director of the unemployment agency, defined as the director of employment security in Executive Order No. 1997-12, provided under this act are transferred to the director as provided in Executive Order No. 2002-1.
