426.152 Logs; unlawful destruction or alteration of marks. Sec. 2. It shall be unlawful for any person other than the owner thereof, or by his consent, to cut off, cut out, alter, deface or destroy any mark made upon any log, spar, boomstick, spile, shinglebolt, timber, railroad tie, post or lumber that shall be floating upon, lying or being in any river, stream, lake, pond, bay, inlet or bayou or any waters in this state or in any boom therein, or on or near the shores or banks thereof.
