445.313 Director of department of agriculture and rural development; duties.Sec. 3. All of the following apply to the director of the department of agriculture and rural development: (a) He or she is responsible for the implementation and administration of sections 7 and 8. (b) He or she shall investigate complaints concerning violations of sections 7 and 8 and conduct any other investigations he or she considers advisable. (c) As the state director of weights and measures, he or she shall promulgate rules under the administrative procedures act of 1969, 1969 PA 306, MCL 24.201 to 24.328, to implement and administer sections 7 and 8.
