45.555 Board of county commissioners as governing body of county; election, organization, and procedures. Sec. 5. Upon the date an optional unified form of county government becomes effective, the board of county commissioners shall be the governing body of the county. The board shall be elected in the manner and number and for terms as provided by law. Its organization and procedures shall be as provided by law, except as modified by this act.
