45.515b Minimum staffing requirement; adoption of county charter or ordinance prohibited.Sec. 15b. Beginning on the effective date of the amendatory act that added this section, a charter county shall not adopt a county charter or ordinance that includes any minimum staffing requirement for county employees. Except as otherwise provided in this section, any provision in a county charter or ordinance adopted on or after the effective date of the amendatory act that added this section that contains a minimum staffing requirement for county employees is void and unenforceable.
