450.3147 Dispute resolution body. Sec. 1147. A cooperative may authorize in its articles or bylaws the establishment of a neutral dispute resolution body. The dispute resolution body shall attempt to settle disputes between the cooperative and any of its members. It shall be composed of individuals who are approved by both parties to the dispute, which individuals may be members or nonmembers, but not officers or directors of the cooperative. The bylaws of a cooperative may provide that membership in the cooperative is conditioned upon participation in good faith in the dispute resolution process authorized by this section.
