§ 451.2459

451.2459 Records; examination or inspection; report.Sec. 459. (1) A Michigan investment market that is registered or is required to register under this article must make a written or electronic record of each transaction conducted between users through the Michigan investment market, maintain that record for at least 7 years after the date of the transaction, and provide a written or electronic copy of the record for a particular transaction to each user involved in that transaction. (2) In addition to the records described in subsection (1), a Michigan investment market that is registered or is required to register under this article shall make and maintain the accounts, correspondence, memoranda, papers, books, and other records required by rule or order of the administrator and shall maintain those records in a form of data storage established by the administrator by rule or order. (3) The records of a Michigan investment market that is registered or is required to register under this article are subject to reasonable periodic, special, or other examinations or inspections by a representative of the administrator, in or outside of this state, as the administrator considers
