458.528 United Missionary churches; board of trustees. Sec. 8. The secular affairs of said church shall be managed by a board of trustees elected and organized according to the provisions of the book of discipline of the United Missionary church, who shall hold their office until their successors are elected and accept their trust unless they previously forfeit their membership, in which case they shall also forfeit their office as a trustee.
