46.11d Minimum staffing requirement; adoption of ordinance prohibited.Sec. 11d. Beginning on the effective date of the amendatory act that added this section, a county board of commissioners shall not adopt an ordinance that includes any minimum staffing requirement for county employees. Except as otherwise provided in this section, any provision in an ordinance adopted by a county board of commissioners on or after the effective date of the amendatory act that added this section that contains a minimum staffing requirement for county employees is void and unenforceable.
