48.43 County treasurer; compensation. Sec. 43. (1) The county treasurer shall receive for his or her services, compensation as the county board of commissioners considers reasonable. (2) Notwithstanding subsection (1), for a county which has a county officers compensation commission, the compensation of the county treasurer of that county shall be determined by that commission.
