§ 500.1839

500.1839 Financial responsibility. Sec. 1839. If a law of this state or any political subdivision of this state requires a demonstration of financial responsibility as a condition for obtaining a license or permit to undertake specified activities, and the requirement may not be satisfied by obtaining insurance coverage from an insurer not authorized to do business in this state, the requirement shall not be satisfied by purchasing insurance from a risk retention group not chartered and authorized in this state.
