500.6864 Limitation of actions. Sec. 6864. No suit or action at law for the recovery of any claim for loss or damage under a policy issued by any company organized or operating under this chapter shall be sustainable in any court of law or equity unless commenced within 12 months next after the liability shall have accrued.
