500.7076 Violation of cease and desist order; notice; hearing; civil fine; suspension or revocation of certificate of authority. Sec. 7076. If a MEWA violates a cease and desist order under this chapter and has been given notice and an opportunity for a hearing, the commissioner may order a civil fine of not more than $10,000.00 for each violation, or a suspension or revocation of the MEWA's certificate of authority, or both the fine and suspension or revocation.
