51.79 Survival of action against sheriff or deputies. Sec. 79. Any action for the malfeasance, misfeasance, or nonfeasance of a sheriff or any of his deputies, may be prosecuted against the executors or administrators of such sheriff, in like manner as if the cause of action survived at common law.
