53.143 System of abstracts of title; appropriation, powers of board of supervisors. Sec. 3. Any board of supervisors so acting may appropriate money within the limits allowed by law, enter into or authorize contracts, appoint and employ or authorize the appointment or employment of agents and servants to have charge of, perform labor on and have the care and custody of the books, records, systems and other property of the county and do all things necessary to carry out the provisions of this act.
