565.232 Seal of court, public officer, or corporation; methods of affixing; execution.Sec. 2. (1) A seal of a court, public officer, or corporation may be affixed in any of the following ways: (a) Impressed directly upon the instrument or writing to be sealed. (b) Impressed upon wafer, wax, or other adhesive substance affixed to the instrument or writing or upon paper or other similar substance affixed to the instrument or writing by an adhesive substance. (c) Affixed electronically upon the instrument or writing to be sealed, or affixed electronically upon an electronic document. (2) An instrument or writing duly executed in the corporate name of a corporation that has not adopted a corporate seal, if executed by the proper officers of the corporation under any seal, shall be considered to have been executed under the corporate seal.
