570.261 Notice by publication. Sec. 11. When any defendant resides out of the state, or is absent from the state, or concealed therein, or cannot be found by reason of his continued absence from his place of residence, or when it cannot be ascertained in what state or country the defendant resides, the complainant may cause notice to be given by publication in like manner, and upon same conditions as in ordinary suits in chancery.
