750.493b Well or cistern; abandoning or failing to keep safely covered or fenced; depth and width. Sec. 493b. Any person who shall knowingly abandon or fail to keep safely covered or fenced any well or cistern of a depth of 4 feet or more and with a top width of 12 inches or more on property owned or occupied by such person shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
