780.162a Belief that obligor may flee jurisdiction; procedure. Sec. 12a. If the court of this state believes that the obligor may flee the jurisdiction, it may: (a) As an initiating court, request in its certificate that the responding court obtain the body of the obligor by appropriate process. (b) As a responding court, obtain the body of the obligor by appropriate process. The court may subsequently release the obligor upon the obligor's own recognizance or upon the obligor's giving a bond in an amount set by the court to assure the obligor's appearance at the hearing.
