67.41 Markets; establishment; regulation. Sec. 41. The council of any village may establish and regulate markets and marketplaces, for the sale of meats, fish, vegetables, and other food products and prescribe rules and regulations relating to hours of business, sanitation, traffic, and other matters normally incidental to the proper management of a market consistent with the market authority act of 1956, 1956 PA 185, MCL 123.671 to 123.680.
