67.42 Regulations; adoption, enforcement. Sec. 42. The council may adopt and enforce such regulations as may be necessary to prevent fraud and to preserve order in the markets; and may authorize the immediate arrest, and removal from the market, of any person violating such regulations, together with any article in his possession; and may authorize the seizure and destruction of tainted or unsound meats, or other provisions exposed for sale therein, or elsewhere in the village.
