§ 772-13b

772.13b Violation of peace bond; order to appear; warrant; hearing. Sec. 13b. If the court is presented with allegations that the person violated 1 or more conditions of a peace bond, the court may issue an order directing the person to appear before the court on a date certain within 7 days or may issue a warrant. If the person fails to appear as ordered, the court shall issue a warrant. If the person appears and denies violating any conditions of the recognizance, the court shall schedule a hearing to be held within 7 days. The hearing shall be conducted in the same manner as a probation violation hearing. History: Add. 1994, Act 71, Eff. July 1, 1994
