774.47 Municipal court having more than 1 judge; powers of any judge in connection with trial and disposition of case. Sec. 47. In a municipal court having more than 1 judge, whenever a warrant is issued for the arrest of a person charged with an offense against the laws of this state, or for the violation of a city ordinance, any judge of that municipal court may arraign, set bail, adjourn, try, take testimony in, conduct a preliminary examination, dismiss, hold for trial in circuit court, and do any other act in connection with the trial and disposition of the case brought before the municipal court.
