89.5 Approved ordinances; recording. Sec. 5. All ordinances when approved by the mayor or when regularly enacted shall be immediately recorded by the clerk of the council, in a book to be called 'The Record of Ordinances,' and it shall be the duty of the mayor and clerk to authenticate the same by their official signatures upon such record.
