§ 87.24

87.24 Constables; powers, duties. Sec. 24. The constables of the city shall have the like powers and authority in matters of civil and criminal nature, and in relation to the service of all manner of criminal process, as are conferred by law upon constables in townships, and shall receive the like fees for their services. They shall have power also to serve all process issued for breaches of ordinances of the city. History: 1895, Act 215, Eff.
