87.37 Additional powers and liabilities of officers. Sec. 37. In addition to the rights, powers, duties and liabilities of officers prescribed in this act, all officers, whether elected or appointed, shall have such other rights, powers, duties and liabilities, subject to and consistent with this act, as the council shall deem expedient, and prescribe by ordinance or resolution.
