88.12 Powers of council; ordinances, enactment. Sec. 12. Whenever by this act or any other provisions of law any power or authority is vested in, or duly imposed upon, the corporation or council, the council may enact such appropriate ordinances as may be necessary for the execution and exercise of such power and authority, and to regulate the performance of such duty.
